I’m not one to write about skincare because I realize everyone has very different skin. If something works for one person it doesn’t mean it’ll work for another. Growing up with very challenged skin—both sensitive and occasional breakouts ... ugh! I was waiting for the miracle product that would soothe, and not irritate, as it cleansed. That’s a tall order for someone with incredibly sensitive skin like me.
As it turned out, I was in the cosmetics area of a department store and a representative from the company was there giving out free samples. I explained to her my lifelong dilemma. She said she used the MD Skincare All-In-One Facial Cleanser, and that she, too, has sensitive skin (yeah, sure, everyone says that!). She gave me a free sample of it (which turned out to be a decent size container) and told me to at least try it. I smiled but wasn’t convinced. My whole life everyone said the same thing, “this product’s great, if it works for me it’ll work for you”—whatever!
It took me a couple of weeks to pick up the bottle and actually try it. I wasn’t expecting anything grand (except maybe the usual blotches and itchy skin). However, within two days I noticed my skin was healthier and smoother, but most importantly, it didn’t irritate (Wow, I thought, this stuff really does work! At least for me and it’s about time). I don’t know if it’ll work for everyone. All I know is that it works for ME. I’ve been a faithful user for at least five years now and I still love it.
