Product:Web site

I had more than $5,000 in credit-card debt at 20% APR that wasn't going away. I needed a new credit card with a good balance-transfer annual percentage rate, so I did a search for a credit-card comparison tool and found Card Hub at www.cardhub.com.

Unlike other card search engines, Card Hub let me specify my credit history and what I was looking for in a new card. I was able to compare a few different cards, which was great because Card Hub also tells you right upfront what the "hidden" fees and fine-print are for each card (for example, which cards charge a "balance-transfer fee"). After a few minutes of comparing, I found a no-annual-fee card with a 12-month, 0% introductory balance-transfer APR.

Once I was ready to apply, I clicked the "Apply Now" button and was automatically redirected to the secure application site for that credit card.

Now I'm saving $1,000 in interest payments for a whole year -- money that I'm using to pay off this stupid credit card debt!

Card Hub was easy to use, educational, and saved me a pile of money. Great stuff. Highly recommended.

There's another site called CardOffers.com that does the same thing. It also has a CardPerks section that let's you know what cards currently have discounts, upgrades, etc. Very useful.

Thank you for the source of information, I know that people especially now could use this site to help them find alternatives, the best card source, as the economy makes using a credit card sometinmes a necessity.

Checked out the site and it really was great because it listed all the cards with the details, just as this review states. So many people are in big debt with credit cards that have high interest rates and hidden fees so this review couldn't have come at a better time!
Are You a Cheap Tipper?

Yes, we all know 15 percent is expected at restaurants, but what about the hair salon? The taxi? The guy who shampoos your hair? How do you know what’s appropriate in those tipping grey areas? Enlighten us here. >>
