After seeing baby anklets on a baby in a store recently, I bought a pair of Bumble Bells.  SO ADORABLE!  They're these tiny, cute little sterling silver anklets with bells on them.  The bells make a sweet little tinkle noise (I wish the website played the sound b/c I am sure the word "bells" is not what any mom wants to hear).  My baby just started walking and it's fantastic, you can hear wherever she is--behind the couch, behind the coffee table, behind me.  The $74 price tag is not cheap but they are gorgeous.  The handiwork on them is beautiful. 

Of course, my first reaction was that the bells would be a choking hazard.  I triple checked whether the bells are removable or not--I pulled and pulled, they are impossible to remove.  They are also expandable, so as those pudgy ankles grow into toddler ankles, you don't have to buy a new pair. 

The best part is that wherever we go, people comment on how beautiful they are.  Remember when you were pregnant and everyone smiled at your glowing self?  It's like that all over again but with a baby in tow.
