Expecting....it's a word that brings many things to mind.  I am expecting - a raise at work.  I am expecting - our first child.  I am expecting - to find the perfect baby book.  My last expectation proved harder to meet.....until I found Elemental Baby's custom memory albums. 

I'd searched all the traditional venues looking for a baby book, and felt a bit like Goldilocks.  The book was either too cutesy, or too formal, or too short (30 pages????), or too stuffy.  I wanted something that was "me" in every way.  And most of the books only went up to the first year.  What happens after that? 

After many complaints to friends, one of them told me about a website she had found when looking for a school memory book for her kindergartner - ElementalBaby.com.  I went online and took a look that night.  Let me tell you what happened next, because this is something you will not get with any other baby memory book. 

First I selected a cover (Grow With Me).  Then I selected how I wanted the memory book worded (First Person as if I was writing it).  Then I selected what I wanted to be called (Mom and Dad). Birth type (Natural - hopefully!).  Sibling pages (None). Additional Pages (Birthday and Holiday).  I know - it seems like a lot of selections, but that's the key -- you pick what you want your book to be.

Then the fun started.  An e-mail address was created for me, and Elemental Baby provided me with an "introductory " e-mail with instructions, which I promptly sent to everyone I know.  Then, everyone I know started sending in photos, memories, and advice!  Elemental Baby took these e-mails and photos and wove them throughout the baby book. 

The result is a beautiful hardcover book that is me in every way.  And I can't wait to start recording my baby's memories in this book.  My expectations were definitely exceeded, and I'm sure yours will be too.
