There are so many cute things in this book to make, yes there are zombies, vampires, a little death guy, a viking, a robot and more.  Yes this would be considered amigurimi crochet patterns.  Let's face it most kids like creepy little things and although not every pattern in this book is "creepy" , I guarantee if you have children they will certainly be begging you to make something from this book.  I am even going to go out on a limb here and say teens may even want to get one of these litle cuties, would make great stocking stuffers which is what I plan on doing with a few of them.  I have not had a chance to make any of the patterns yet but I did browse the book and for me the patterns seem to be very easy to follow.  A great refreshing change and a good addition to your crochet library.
