A very special friend of mine (my boyfriend) told me of a dream he had that was very touching to him.
My little sister introduced us on the phone and after speaking with him for a few minutes, I thought I would never speak to him again. I didn’t even know he would become my boyfriend later on. After we spoke, my boyfriend recalled his dream. He had been lonely and single for two months before he met me. His ex-girlfriend had cheated on him and left him feeling depressed. After he first spoke to me, that night he had a dream that he was all alone in a cover of darkness. He cried for the light. He cried for someone to help him and show him the way out. That’s when he recalled seeing a girl with long black hair and light skin. He had never seen her before and he couldn’t see her face. She was holding her arms out to him. She called out to him. She said, “Come to me.” My boyfriend crawled to her and laid in her arms before he woke up dripping with sweat.
Months later, I spoke to him again and we became boyfriend and girlfriend. He started to cry the day we got together. He said the girl who had helped him out of the lonely darkness and into the light in his dream was me. The way he described the girl was exactly how I looked. This story proves that dreams can be prophetic even in love.
