She feels the dew seeping through the back of her clothes; she takes a deep breath exhales and opens her eyes to a starry night and a full moon. Ever since her grandma passed away, she started going outside at midnight and singing the lullaby her grandma sang to her.
“You’ve got the whole world in your hands; you’ve got the whole world in your hands-”
It brings back happy memories, sometimes sad but she continues to sing.
“You’ve got the prettiest little eyes in the whole world; you’ve got the prettiest little eyes in the whole world.”
Singing to her grandma brings her inner peace. She feels that she should sing to her grandma, like her grandma sang to her. She knows her grandma isn’t gone, just asleep but by her side. Every night before she goes inside she takes one last deep breath, and says,
“Grandma, We are infinite.”
