Last week my easy-going husband was acting a bit “off.” He finally fessed up that he was on overload from reading the paper and watching the news—he was feeling blue and anything but hopeful.
The fears and uncertainty of the “what ifs” of tomorrow are easy to get trapped by. It can be quite a challenge to continue to bring ourselves back to The Now, or as I think of it, This Moment. Yes, we need to acknowledge what’s happening—whether it be out in the world or at home in our own private world—and then we have the gift to choose what we want to create in our lives.
Nature always finds a way for new life and beauty to burst through a bleak environment.
How are you dealing with these unsettled times we are all facing? What does your inner landscape feel like? I’d love to hear from you.
