Expectant parents often contemplate choosing a name for their beloved baby before the due date. Many discussions are held on this timely topic. Resources are sought for assistance in choosing a name. Have you ever thought about the significance of a name? Have you ever been at a gathering of people and a person acknowledges everyone by name, except for you! This is no coincidence! Calling a person by their name or remembering their name communicates blessing by acknowledging who they are! Likewise, a person who refuses to call you by your name devalues you as a person and dishonors you. There is a name more valuable and honorable than any other name you will ever speak! The name above all names, Jesus.

Timeline of the fall of 2005: Imagine my surprise when this thought went flashing through my mind, “Jenny’s going to have a C-section.” I responded to the thought by answering aloud, “What?” My husband, Lynn, inquired, “Who are you talking to?” I replied, “God.” Lynn said, “Really, what did he tell you?” So, I informed him of my thought. Lynn said, “Well, I wouldn’t go tell Jenny that!” I said, “I didn’t plan to tell Jenny.” But think about the origination of a person’s thoughts; my own, Satan’s, or God’s. Now, I would have no reason to tell myself that Jenny’s going to have a C-section, even though I am a RN, Satan does not know the future, only God knows the future and God does not lie.”
