Every day on my short commute to work, I try to listen to something on the radio or my MP3 that gives me a lift, makes me smile and gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. Then I try to keep that momentum going for the rest of the day. I have a lot of things that lift me up; songs I like, the wonderful group of people I work with, taking a break and watching the groups of birds swirl around the roof of the flour mill outside my window, and thinking about my great family. I try to keep positive and humorous thoughts in my day as much as I can. I will be serious if need be but only if it’s absolutely necessary. Many times I am laughing to myself behind my serious demeanor.
Think good thoughts, surround yourself with good people, and it will make you feel good.
