You work hard to make ends meet, or maybe you’re breezing along the fast track of career success. Your relationship is thriving or failing (or nonexistent). Perhaps you’re still trying to decide which path to take in life. There is so much happening on the outside, but here’s a question for you: What’s in your heart?
We can all describe ourselves with words. We might use our occupation, physical description, or status in life to tell others who we are—staying away from what’s at the core. But what is at the core? The things of the heart cannot be disguised. They pour out in our tone of voice, body language, thoughts/feelings, actions/reactions and overall life message.
A quote from Wayne Dyer comes to mind: “When you squeeze an orange, orange juice comes out, because that’s what’s inside. When you are squeezed, what comes out is what is inside.”
Now that you’ve read this far, why not ask yourself? Go ahead … take a moment.
What’s in my heart?
The answer will determine how you use your life and how your life is used.
