Ab Exercises: Half Pike With Tap

To really target your core muscles, you need to try the Half Pike with Tap ab exercises for women. This core strengthening exercise engages your abs and obliques. For this core exercise, lay down with your feet on either side of a chair. With your hands clasped above your head, perform crunches with a twist to engage the obliques. When you crunch up, tap your elbow to the opposite knee. Perform these oblique crunches in a controlled movement so you really engage the core muscles. Do 24 reps, switch legs, and repeat.
