The first Crabtree & Evelyn retail store opened in 1977, and in 1996 Harvey sold the company to Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad. In 2012, the company was resold to Khuan Choo International, Ltd. Crabtree & Evelyn products include fragrances, bath and body products, hand creams, and home accessories. Best-selling products are hand creams such as the Hand Therapy line, which features shea butter, nut oil, and ceramides to condition hands and nails. The Crabtree & Evelyn fragrance collection features perfumes, body mists, eau de toilettes, and solid perfume compacts in a variety of scents. The Crabtree & Evelyn home collection includes fragrance sprays, fragrance oils, scented drawer papers, and other products for a fresh-smelling home. The Crabtree & Evelyn "For Him" items include toiletries such as hair and body washes, shave creams, and fragrances. Men's lines include Nomad, Sienna, and West Indian Lime, all of which consist of several grooming products.
