Janet was brought up in a suburb of South London, and not easily daunted by adversity, running her own business at the age of twenty-six, repairing dot matrix printer heads, which can be found in (ATM) cash machines. She left in 1996, having acquired a range of skills, which she made good use of. Working in a variety of industries she gained a broad view of business and went onto work with small to medium sized businesses as a ‘start-up’ business advisor. She enjoys working with businesses and individuals, acting as a facilitator to encourage them to reach their goals. She keeps in touch with her emotions by using the medium of art and writing, having been encouraged to do so by her uncle, Reginald Stead, who has always been an inspiration to her since a young age. Reg is an accomplished artist and author, living in Canada, so it wasn’t surprising to find Janet following the same route.
