I am proud to be the Managing Editor here at DivineCaroline. I have been with the company since the very beginning and am surrounded by smart, wonderful people who have worked very hard to make this site what it is.

I am originally from the South, but I love it here in San Francisco and won’t be going back. I love biking the city and having cocktails/dinner in all the fabulous restaurants here. Some faves are Lime, Cancun, Puerto Alegre, the Mix, Eureka, and the Grand Cafe.

My passions in life are music and the written word. I play guitar and piano; I also sing. I love all genres, but am partial to classical music and heavy metal, and spend lots of time composing music that combines the two. My favorite bands are Whitesnake, House of Lords, Savatage, Guns n’ Roses, U2, and the Indigo Girls. My musical idols are Adrian Vandenberg and Beethoven; my literary idols are Shakespeare, Hesse, Salinger, Dorothy Allison, and Jeanette Winterson. I write songs, articles, and short stories and I am working on a novel.

The things that make me happy are living alone, cider, good cheese, crossword puzzles, tattoos, South Park, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. I also collect guitars and cool sneakers. What I appreciate most in this world are my friends—they mean everything to me.
