Patti Ghezzi is an Atlanta writer and mom, trying to balance it all without burning the house down. She used to knit, but her knitting bag has been collecting dust since her daughter came along. She is trying to live green, but the water shortage has her rethinking the whole cloth diaper thing. She won a couple of awards while covering education for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and founded the blog “Get Schooled, ” all of which seems like a lifetime ago. She has an undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Massachusetts and a graduate degree in writing from Kennesaw State University. A Mississippi native, she once taught English in Japan and managed not to learn Japanese.
