Cassi's Mom started writing at the age of eleven (clearly long before she was a Mom). While most little girls played house, she played “writer” with her mother’s manual typewriter and created “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark”, her first eight-page script. Throughout high school and college, her stories were published in newspapers and literary journals. In 2003, she decide to pursue her passion for writing , and during a nine-month sabbatical, completed “The Go Between”, her first full-length novel. Currently, she is working with her agent to find a publisher and has started work on a second novel, “Trouble in My Way”, based on the strength of the family bond and one young woman’s desire for independence.
