I'm a woman of color, married with kids and living with Multiple Sclerosis. I've assisted captains of industries - from banking to fundraising; from environmental advocates to rock & roll radio.
I hope to complete my education in non-profit management with the University of Illinois, Chicago by mid-summer 2008.
In the interim I serve on the Minneapolis Advisory Committee for Persons with Disabilities, Alliance for Metropolitan Stability board (at large), Environmental Justice Advocates of Minnesota - climate change working group, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society as an adviser to their technology collaborative: https://www.myMSmyway.com/snapshot and write articles about various things and deals.
A recent graduate of the Wellstone Action's Camp Wellstone! Citizen Activist Track... Trained in citizen lobbying, issue advocacy, and community organizing in how to win on issues. And I serve the Democratic Farm Labor Party as a volunteer, local affirmative action officer.
My highest goal would be to lead an organization that takes action for those who need it most and effects lasting, sustainable differences for the region.
