I am a native Californian and long-time Brooklyn resident. In my corporate life, I run Web services for a large human resources consulting firm and make PowerPoint sales pitches to Fortune 500 corporations. Privately I'm is an avid circus hound, poetry junky, and endurance cyclist. Food is my dominant motivator, though sleeping on warm sand comes in a very strong second. My main writing influences are coffee and chocolate, and talking to strangers in New York City bars provides my primary source material.
