Don Mills Diva

Kelly Graham-Scherer, aka the Don Mills Diva, writes from Don Mills, a family-friendly enclave of Toronto where she ponders parenting, aging and whether the retreat of cool is inevitable. She works full time as an administrator in Toronto’s film and television industry and shares parenting duties of her two-year-old son Graham with her husband Rob, a film technician. Born and bred in a small, northern town she learned to fly float planes at her father’s knee and strives to find a balance between her rural roots and her big-city lifestyle. Don Mills Diva was launched in August of 2007 and quickly gained a loyal following, resulting in it being short-listed for two Canadian Blog Awards in 2007. Kelly also writes the style column Shooting for Hip at mommyblogstoronto.
