Married, mother, grandmother, love my whole family. Have some dear friends. Started grammology with a friend to promote grandmothers within the family helping parents and kids with todays issues. Everywhere I go, I hear parents say they are loosing control of their children. They are not willing to do everyday chores, to commit to family obligations, and many feel they are entitled to more then you can even imagine. We try to show parents it is important to teach them values within the home. Expect children to do their share of jobs in the home. Make it seamless as they move through the day. Never leaving a bed unmade. Managing their own laundry even if mom washed it, and then they take it out of the dryer, fold and place away. expecting the family to sit down to dinner with the family whenever possible. Recognizing family is first, values are lived and taught at home. Honesty, integrity, a strong work ethic, and what to expect in the real world.. We also strive to give a voice to parents and children who don't have good homes. Expressing how many of us came from hard times, and we move forward. Putting behind us the poor me syndrome. Working hard at focusing on the future. We can't change what was, however, we can change the cycle today, and do better. We're improving our site as we learn more about the needs of the family and our children. Growing and learning changing and improving. We'll be a year old next month..where did this glorious time go by. Where I was able to share my thoughts with you, and many seemed to enjoy what I had to say. This is truly who I am, someone trying to make things brighter and better during my day. Telling the world, many grandmas want to help. And have wit, wisdom, and experience to share with the world..
