I am a wife, mother of three, grandmommy to five gorgeous, beautiful grandchildren, 3 girls and 2 boys. I have been gifted by God to write poetry. I love all kinds of crafts and have done them all. My craft room has taken over my house and infected my children. It's in the blood and incurable.

My son works in a hospital and pet store, my two daughters are stay at home crafty moms. My husband spoils me rotten, just ask my kids and my mom. They are all jealous. He is obviously, the best husband in the world and I love him dearly. I work at a Walmart Neighborhood Market in the invoice/upc office and pretty much run the store. Oh wait, that's just my opinion. I am a breast cancer survivor. I also have type II diabetes and osteoarthritis. Oh yeah, sleep apnea, acid reflux, and I almost forgot the pre-malignant cyst on my pancreas but God's working on healing that. No worries.

I am a Christian and love Jesus to the utmost. Most of my writing is Christian based. I am active in our church where we support foster and adoption with a big celebration each year.

I have a webpage at www.caringbridge.org/visit/karenarthur chronicling my journey with breast cancer with hopefully is done now that I am cancer free.
