Karletta Moniz is a San Francisco-based chef, food consultant and writer. Her passion for food and love of San Francisco led her to create the blog Culinary Muse where she chronicles her food adventures in one of the worlds great food cities. She shares her favorite places to eat, places to sit and enjoy the view, the best morning walks, the driest Martini and the perfect French 75. It was during her quest for the perfect cup of hot chocolate that she realized the world of chocolate was becoming more varied and complex every day. She knew that chocolate lovers needed the tasting tools necessary to discern which chocolates they preferred and, more important, to deepen their enjoyment of this food of the gods. Thats when the idea for a class devoted to just chocolate was born. Karletta leads fun and interesting chocolate tasting classes about the cacao bean and the wonders that come from it. Her second blog, The Art of Tasting Chocolate, was created as an extension of her classes. It is the place where she shares her enthusiasm for all things chocolate. Chocolate recipes, event announcements, interviews with noted chocolatiers and confectioners is just the beginning. She also chronicles the lives of the unknown chocolate heroes whose lives are devoted to the magic that is chocolate.

For more information, please visit culinarymuse.com
