I recently relocated to the relative suburbia of Astoria from Manhattan. I'm still adjusting, but love my pre-war apartment with its sloping floors, crooked doorframes, and inconsistent hot water. OK, not so much that last one. I'm a pop culture junkie, a former stage combatant and renaissance faire performer, a subscriber to the “dance like no one is watching” school of thought, and a frequent cross-country traveler. I work in publishing, and am writing a personal memoir/travelogue called “How to Date a Superhero.” I am, in fact, dating a superhero.
