I am not interesting enough to even find 1000 characters to write about myself. I was born in Belgium in 1936, lived through the horror of WII, made a bad marraige at the ridiculous age of 19, came to Canada 2 months later, having just turned 20. Have a son almost 47, unmarried, a daughter 43, whose oldest child turns 24 today, she has 2 other 'children', a boy 20, a girl 18. The person I loved most in the world, my mother, died in 2003, followed by my father in 2004, and my 'baby brother' - he was only 56 - on the Canadian Thanksgiving day in 2006. Some holiday that was!!!

My disastrous marriage lasted for 22 years to an SOB who had an affair with a woman 19 years younger than himself for 3-1/2 years before he decided to 'disappear', literally. I eventually found him and was divorced 4 years later.

I was born with wings on my feet and have always loved traveling but did not have the necessary money very often. Last year and in 2006, thanks, very sadly, to my father and my brother's deaths, I inherited some money and went to Europe for 2 weeks in 2006 and 3 weeks in 2007.
