A butcher, a baker, a candlestick maker -- at least that's what it feels like - but it's all good! An average of 7 careers in a lifetime (so they say is the case nowadays). I'm on about 12 right now. I love variety and I love spice, so there you have it.

The thing is, I always knew I wanted to write. In fact, I did write. I've writen seriously since age 10. Despite the fact that throughout my life I yearned to write the book that was in me, I knew I wasn't ready. I knew I wasn't ready because I didn't get it. And it wasn't until my late 40's and 50's that I really started to get it. I still don't have it all, never will, but now it's coming, and the rapids are rushing, the water is gushing.

And the book? Number 1 has arrived! And it truly was like giving birth. You know the feeling, you get smack in the middle of it and want to quit but you know there's no way you can and there you are, huffing, puffing, moaning, groaning, and cursing a certain someone all along the way.

And so it lives, and it's all about my obsessive-compulsive, and surprisingly successful foray into the world of online dating in my 40's, and it's called Why I Hate to Date Online.

So now I continue to write about love, dating, and a few other things. I've had a few relationships and 3 marriages along the way, so I've ammased some experience in the lines of love. And while I write, I have my other passion on the floor at my feet my five Boston Terriers. You want to talk about unconditional love?
