I just turned 50 this past October, and for the past couple of years I thought that I would celebrate the event by being on a Caribbean cruise. Life has a way of deciding things for us and my plans for that cruise were changed due to the fact that my husband had recently started a new job, so taking the cruise at this time just wasn't possible. I wasn't sure how I was going to deal with turning 50, so I decided to throw a birthday/costume-Halloween party. I have a favorite character that I have played over the years and "Maggie the bag lady" made a huge hit at my party. It softened the blow of never being 40 something ever again. Now on to the more personal stuff...
I am 50 yrs. young. I am married for the um... never mind, this time I got it right time! I have three grown children and 6 wonderful grandchildren. I live in a rural community in southeast Texas. We moved here 2 years ago and I absolutely love it.
I have two dogs, Ted E. Bear a 9 yr. old chow mix, and our newest addition, Diablo our pure bred German Shepherd. I also have two Siamese kitties.
I enjoy writing poetry and short stories which includes some erotic short stories. I have also written 5 children's stories. I am working on a suspense romance novel and hope to get it published someday. I enjoy amateur photography and recycling old stuff. I grew up in the mid west and I have a degree in nursing.
I help out my neighbors every chance I get and I enjoy life a whole lot.
That's a little bit about me, If you would like to know more just give me a haller, I'll put the coffee on.
