Retsu Takahashi

Born in New York City, c.1970, of Japanese immigrant parents. Spent an adventure-filled youth growing up in Brooklyn, NY. Graduated with a BA from Oberlin College in Ohio with a degree in Women's Studies (now Gender Studies). Followed up with an MFA degree from The School of Visual Arts in New York City. After some years in Seattle, currently working and living in New York, waiting for the next big snowfall to go snowboarding down the hills of Prospect Park. Daily goal is to get dinner on the table by 6:00 pm (failed again tonight). Weekly ambition is to make it to Wednesday, 7am pick-up Ultimate frisbee in the park.
