A little over a year ago, I created a blog at www.Shalavee.com (Chez La Vie was taken). To write or not to write, had long been my question. I held onto my writing like a secret that would pop if I let it go. Then I finally let it go. Instead of going pop, it grew. No question now that I've proven I have something to say and words to say it with. We live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in the USA in a 150 year old house on a river. What we can't afford to fix, I like to camouflage and redecorate constantly. Once a gift shop owner, I am now looking to recharge my crafting capabilities and somehow incorporate them into my life again. We were more than lucky to find out that the baby we've been trying for 7 years to create happened. He or she is due in February of 2013. And the crazy will continue to bring new insights into the person I am becoming. If I live into my eighties, I have another 40 years to bless the world with my opinions and my artistic vision. And to watch my son and my new baby grow and to grow with them.
