I live a lovely life in San Francisco, about 3 blocks from the bay, which means my days include walks by the water, taking in the gorgeous farmer's market colors and textures, hanging out with entrepreneurial types, and drinking as many delicious lattes as possible.

I love psychology and personal growth, which to me simply means working with our inner life to change our outer life. I’m blessed that writing, speaking and coaching is my work. I love working with women who would give their lives a B or B+...things are good (or look good) but not great. We build a vision of a more alive, thrilling, amazing life and then go get it.

I'm often told I’m a rare specimen in the personal growth world, with an MBA from Stanford and an undergraduate degree in English from Yale. I love living life with one foot in each of two very different worlds, one where education and data rule, the other where intuition and inner wisdom have ultimate authority. One that sees reality as determined by external circumstances, the other that views it as created by our aspirations. One world that loves comparing people; the other that holds everyone as having a unique, equally valuable contribution.

I love what Divine Caroline is about and am happy to have found a women’s online community that doesn’t have flashing hummingbirds or waterfalls on every page. I guess that’s enough for here….you can also visit me at www.sophiashouse.wordpress.com
