I am a 40-year-old single woman living in Denver. I love the mountains, the water and all the glorious sunshine we get here. I am an avid reader and film buff. I also love to do anything in the outdoors - hiking, biking, canoeing, rafting, swimming, camping, wind-surfing, rock-climbing, etc. etc. I recently left my job of eight years to run a small non-profit that I am starting from scratch. It's called HazingPrevention.Org and the name is pretty self-explanatory. It is a lot of work to start a non-profit, but it's work that I believe in and can do on my own schedule from home. In 2006 I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and I believe it was one of the best things that ever happened to me.
