After Entrepreneur27 successfully held many events for young entrepreneurs in the San Francisco Bay Area, some of the women in the crowd started to ask—“Where are all the girls in the Silicon Valley?”

Four female regulars at Entrepreneur27 events got together to start a women’s movement in the Web 2.0 frenzy. We don’t believe in paying hundreds of dollars for advice and workshops to help us become better entrepreneurs and business leaders, so we strive to hold events at low or no cost. We understand that half the battle in business is networking well, and since we’re not especially jazzed about the quote unquote old boys clubs, we created Women 2.0 as the new way for emerging young women leaders to network with each other.

Women 2.0 connects like-minded, motivated young women to swap energy, ideas, and experiences with each other. Women 2.0 conferences showcase top female entrepreneurs and leaders in their field. Women 2.0 mixers are held in both San Francisco and the Silicon Valley to bring both emerging and extraordinary women together to network and learn from one another, usually around some wine and cheese.

For more information, please visit Women 2.0
