Permanent Marker Nail Art Quick Tip
Need a nail art design you can pull off in minutes? Try this easy technique that uses a permanent marker to add details to plain painted nails.
Looking for a nail art technique you can pull off in 5 minutes or less? You probably already have the solution on hand- permanent markers. In a zillion colors including fun metallic finishes, you can use markers to add quick designs of any sort to basic painted nails. To start, gather your materials. You'll need white nail polish and a metallic marker. I'm using gold. After applying a base coat to protect your nails, apply the white polish to all your nails. You'll probably need 2 coats to get a really solid color. Use the marker to draw on your design. I'm doing a dotted look, but you could do swirls, stripes, chevrons, or any design you can think of. Once you're happy with the design, apply a clear top coat to seal and protect. Could it be any easier? Get creative by trying different polish and marker color combos. The possibilities are endless. Have fun with it.
