Who doesn't love some movement in their hair? Curling irons will give your hair that little swing better and faster than any other tool out there. Let's get moving. My favorite kind of curling iron is called the Marcel iron and it's a little different from a normal one because, instead of a spring clamp, you open and close it yourself and it gives it a much more natural effect. So, first, I'm just gonna take a strand of hair in the front and then open my curling iron and twist it and feed it through. And a Marcela iron gives you a little more volume because it's not smashing your hair like a spring clamp would. Just go through your hair and pick out the strands that have gotten a little frizzy or loss their shape and use the curling iron on them. By touching the hair while it's still in the iron, you can feel like it's been heated all the way through. Be careful not to burn yourself. I like to start mid to upper shaft of the hair, and as I'm turning it, open and close the iron to feed the hair through. Once you are finished, you can either run your hands through it or shake it out as needed. Hello, hair. What's shakin'?
