Spring Floral Nails
Nothing says spring like colorful flowers, and this impressionistic take on a flower-filled garden is sure to put you in a warm-weather mood. Just use an artist's brush and a handful of bright polishes to give your nails a spring-fresh look.
This nail technique looks like a work of art, but it's easy to achieve. A series of polish dots and multiple colors create the impression of a flower bed in full bloom. To start, gather your materials. You'll need pink, orange and green polish. To make the dots, you'll need an artist brush and a paper plate. You'll also need a base coat and a clear top coat. After applying a base coat to protect your nails, pour small pools of each polish onto the plate. Use the brush to paint a few pink dots across the tips of the nails at a diagonal. Let the dots dry. Clean off the brush and repeat the process with your orange polish adding dots at a diagonal. Once the dots have dried, clean the brush again and repeat with green polish filling in the holes. When those dots have dried, apply a top coat to the entire nail to seal and protect the design. And there you have it, a fresh, floral look that's perfect for spring. Try it yourself today.
